Welcome to TLC!
Our Mission at TLC is to reach and teach people to become disciples for Christian service.
Our Vision is to build a Christ-centered, Bible-based church that transforms lives.
Statements of Faith:
- We
believe the Bible is the absolute Word of God.
God inspired the original writings of Scripture which were without error. The Bible is the complete and only authority for all matters of faith and practice and is all that is necessary for the teaching of truth and the making of disciples. - We
believe in the Trinity.
There is one God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. - We
believe Jesus is the only hope for salvation.
Jesus, God’s one and only son, died and rose again from the dead so that by faith and obedience to him, we will have eternal life with God, the Father. - We
believe the plan of salvation as taught in the Bible.
The Bible teaches that salvation, the forgiveness of sin, is only by grace through the blood of Jesus Christ and that one receives God’s grace by putting faith in Christ’s sacrifice, repenting of sin, and confessing Christ. - We
believe The Church is the body and bride of Christ and also serves as the
household of faith.
It is a living temple where God dwells in each of His people. We believe that everyone that has been saved by Christ is a member of the greater Christian Church. We believe that the Church exists throughout the world, and is witnessed and experienced in local autonomous gatherings of believers. - We
believe in celebrating the Lord's Supper.
The bread and the cup are a fellowship meal with Jesus himself. The Lord invites all believers to prepare themselves and remember the sacrifice of His life for our sins. - We
believe in commitment to service admissions.
We serve not our own interest, but Christ, and He expects us to develop our God-given gifts for service through His church. - We believe that the family is a sacred institution sanctioned by God and bound by the marriage covenant which is defined as being between one man and one woman.
